WORLD THRIFT ROOF WATER PROOFING

WORLD THRIFT ROOF WATER PROOFING

Kris took the roofing crew to begin the roof water proofing process. The roof deck and cement wall was scraped to remove all loose and deteriorated debris. Heavy urethane caulking was used to seal any holes or gaps on the roof and wall. Gaco Western silicone paint was used to seal the roofing surfaces. A reinforcing scrim was embedded in the pint at the cantilever. Two coats were installed on the flat roof surface.

As a precautionary measure, we adjusted the gutter to drain more evenly and cut the a/c condensate lines to help. Kris also cut over flows in the gutter to make sure it will not back up under the roof flashing and leak into the building
