Support Beam Replacement
Tree Fall On Your House?
Strong gusts of wind during high wind events and storms sometimes have a nasty habit of falling trees on homes. When fallen trees hit houses they not only penetrate roofs, but they can break trusses and even support beams and wall studs.
Rotten Support Beam Replacement
Leaking roofs and windows can allow water to reach support beams and rot them making it necessary to replace the beam. Termites are also offenders and can really cause serious damage to load bearing structural beams. This damage usually goes unnoticed because of the stucco siding that covers them.

Types of Structural Beams
There are two kinds of Beams.
1. Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) – solid wood beams
2. Laminated beams. Manufactured beams much like plywood
Both beams are excellent for load bearing applications. Laminated beams are a bit stronger the natural wood. In many cases these beams are doubled or even tripped up to handle heavy loads.
